Privacy policy

Clearsize: Size Chart & Guide ("Clearsize", "we") is a Shopify app made by Akash Randive, trading as DecisionsCalc. This policy explains what information the app uses when a merchant installs it, and what happens to it.

Information about your shoppers

None is collected. The size chart and the "Find my size" helper run entirely in the shopper's browser: measurements a shopper types are never sent to us or stored anywhere. The storefront makes no requests to our servers. The only thing remembered in the shopper's browser (local storage) is their cm / inches choice.

Information about your store

• Your size charts are saved in your own Shopify store as metaobjects (Content → Metaobjects → Size chart), and the chart picked for a product as a product metafield. They are not copied to our servers, and they stay in your store if you uninstall the app.
• Login sessions: to connect the app to your store, Shopify gives us an access token for your shop. We store your shop's domain and this token on Cloudflare (our hosting provider) so the app can read and save your charts. We delete them when you uninstall.
• Plan and usage state: whether your store is on Free or Pro (also saved in your store as a shop metafield), and, for Pro stores, the date your size chart stopped showing, so we can switch an unused Pro plan back to Free after 30 days. This state is deleted when it no longer applies and when you uninstall.
• Theme settings (read only): we read your live theme's settings to tell you whether the size chart is switched on. We don't change your theme and don't store theme files.

What we don't do

No ads, no tracking scripts, no analytics on your storefront, and no selling or sharing of data. We never access your customers or orders: the app doesn't request those permissions.

Billing

Pro subscriptions are billed by Shopify. We never see your payment details.

Data requests and deletion

We respond to Shopify's privacy requests (customer data requests, customer redaction and shop redaction). Because we hold no customer data, there is nothing to export or delete for shoppers. When you uninstall, your login sessions are deleted at once and any remaining shop data within 48 hours of Shopify's shop redaction request. You can ask us to delete anything at any time by writing to support@decisionscalc.com.

Where data is processed

Login sessions are stored with Cloudflare, Inc. on its global network. Your charts stay in Shopify. We are based in India.
